Excerpt from Crazy For You by Logan
Bridget Forrester arrived at Logan Designs. She walked
down the hall towards her mother's office. As usual she felt a sense of pride walking the halls of Logan Designs. It was a
huge success. She knew it would be. With her mother as CEO and her father Ridge as the Head Designer it was destined to be.
She arrived at the door and smiled when she saw the name plate read Brooke Forrester--CEO. She hoped one day to be as successful
as her mother was. She also hoped one day she would have a terrific marriage like her parents shared. She wished she could
find that someone special to share her life with. She saw what her mom shared with Ridge. She hoped one day she would share
that same type of love and happiness with someone. She hadn't had much luck finding that person. The guys she met just didn't
interest her. She didn't feel anything for them. There was no excitement. She was starting to wonder if she would ever find
that special person who would hold a place in her heart like Ridge did in her mother's heart. Bridget slowly opened the door
to the office and peaked in.
"Mom?"
"Hi
Honey." said Brooke.
Bridget
saw she was with someone. "Oh I'm sorry...I didn't know you were meeting someone."
"Its
okay." smiled Brooke. "We were just wrapping up. You can come in."
Bridget
walked in and shut the door behind her.
"Bridget."
said Brooke. "I'd like you to meet the new head of our promotions department. Deacon Sharpe."
Bridget stared at the man
standing in front of her. She was completely mesmerized.
